Description
KHEP Chair by Knud Holscher and Ejnar Pedersen for A.Petersen. Designed in 2015 when Holscher was 85 years old and Pedersen 93. The close friends were asked by A.Petersen to make one last chair together and although they accepted, they refused to agree it would be their last together resulting in the chair becoming known as 'the second to last chair'. Frame made of Ash which is available from stock in painted red or black with the seat being made from stainless steel and woven wicker. The chair’s frame of painted ash is produced by Getama in northern Jutland. Welder Mikkel Kjærholm (grandson of Poul Kjaerholm) makes the frame, and the seat/back is woven at Bruun Olsen Flet in Hillerød.
