Privacy Policy

Aram respects your privacy rights and recognises the importance of protecting the information we collect about you. Therefore we have adopted a Privacy Policy, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018, which determines how we collect, store and use the information that you provide us with. (This policy applies only to sites maintained by Aram and not to websites maintained by other companies or organisations to which we may provide links.) Please read this privacy policy before using the site or submitting any personal information. By using the site, you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy. You are encouraged to review the privacy policy whenever you visit the site to make sure that you understand how any personal information you provide will be used.

Collection of Information

We collect personally identifiable information, like names, postal addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers, when voluntarily submitted by our visitors. The information you provide is used to fulfil your specific request such as making a purchase from our online store. This information is only used to fulfil your specific request. By completing a purchase online, you consent to the personal data you provide being processed as required to complete your purchase. We use email and targeted online advertising to send you product and services updates, promotional offers and other marketing communications based on the information we collect about you, such as your email address, general location, and purchase and website browsing history. You may withdraw your consent or manage your preferences at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our marketing emails, or by contacting us as shown below.

In certain cases, your data will be transmitted to Architonic AG via the Virtual Showroom for processing product enquiries (name, email address, phone no, city and country). In turn, Architonic AG will forward this data back to Aram Trade if this is necessary for processing the request in question. Only the data which is necessary to process the purpose in question will be forwarded.

Cookies

This website uses cookies, which are useful tools for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the site, and understanding how visitors use the site. Cookies can also help customise and optimise the site for visitors and are enabled by default to offer you the best browsing experience. By using the site, you are providing your consent and acceptance of these cookies. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies, except for IP address. Cookies can be disabled if you choose within your browser’s options.

In addition, Architonic AG uses Google Analytics in its Virtual Showroom. This is a web analysis service of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are stored on your computer, to perform an analysis of how the website is used. The information determined by these cookies (time, location, pages accessed and anonymised IP address) are sent to Google and stored in the USA. Google uses the information to evaluate the use of the Virtual Showroom and generate reports for Architonic AG.

Distribution of Information

Rest assured that we will never share your personal information with a third party for marketing purposes. We will only share information with a Government agency as required or permitted by law with regard to fraud prevention or investigation. In order to complete the delivery of your purchase we will pass your name, address and telephone number to the delivery company contracted to carry out the delivery of your purchase. Your anonymised IP address will be shared with Google Analytics. Form submissions (such as the Contact Us page and the Create Account page) are protected by Google reCaptcha and anonymised information will be shared with Google in order for this utility to function.

Commitment to Data Security

Appropriate technical and organisational measures have been taken to ensure that your personally identifiable information is kept completely secure. Only authorised employees and contractors (who have also demonstrated a commitment to data security within their own policies) have access to this information. Credit card details, for example, are processed by Opayo (formerly SagePay) – a level 1 payment service provider, which is the highest level of PCI DSS compliance – through direct server integration within our online checkout.
