Eames Aluminium Group: Home Office
The Eames Aluminium Group chairs rank among the most important furniture designs of the twentieth century, created by renowned design duo Charles & Ray Eames. This spring, Vitra has expanded this chair family with models that are ideally suited to the home office. With glides on a four star base, they have an understated, relaxed appearance.
Made in two widths, the Aluminium Group EA 131 chair is the slightly wider version at 580mm wide and the Aluminium Group EA 132 chair is narrower at 560mm. Both chairs feature an upright seat angle for desk working, with an adjustable height and tilt mechanism. The seat height can be infinitely adjusted via a gas piston from 420mm to 530mm.
Glides can be felt for hard floors or nylon for carpet, on frames of aluminium in polished, chromed or powder-coated deep black finishes.
