Oscar Tusquets Gaulino Easy Chair for BD Barcelona. A natural evolution of the iconic Gaulino Chair, (below) the lounge chair version is lower and wider, fulfilling the function of an armchair while visually appearing much lighter. Drawing inspiration from the artistic legacies of Antonio Gaudi and Carlo Mollino, Oscar Tusquets crafted the 'Gaulino' in 1987. Its contoured wooden frame, slender tapering legs, and smooth, opulent leather made it an enduring icon of 20th-century design. The Gaulino Easy Chair retains the functional artistry of its predecessor while delivering a more relaxed and elegant seating experience. The lowered backrest and low, dropped seat beckon you to unwind in style and comfort. The solid ash wood structure and back are available in three exquisite finishes: natural varnished, black stained or coral red ash.
