USM Selection - 8 items in stock
We have eight items from the USM 'quick ship' selection immediately available from stock. Developed by Paul Schärer Jr. and Fritz Haller in the 1960s, the USM modular furniture storage is a system of tubular steel modules that was centred around an elegant ball joint – an ingenious invention for which they sought a patent in 1965. Though initially only intended for use in USM's offices, in 1969 the series production and sale of USM Haller began and, in the later decades of the twentieth century, the company expanded throughout the world.
Whilst the modular concept means that a bespoke storage solution has an almost number of possibilities, it is also able to create a number of individual pieces of furntiure suitable for the most common requirements around the home. USM's Selection of 'quick ship' items can be ordered on a reduced lead time of five to six weeks from the Swiss factory in all of the fourteen lacquer colours. We have invested in a stock holding of eight of these pieces so that they are available for delivery straightaway from our warehouse.

The simplicity of the USM Haller system lends itself perfectly to the bedside table - clean, elegant lines enhance the sense of calm that is a prerequisite of the bedroom. The USM bedside unit (ref M55) is available from stock in white and in beige.
This low board’s clear, technical structure provides an extra special podium for your multimedia devices. Its rear-facing lights which are within the chrome tube create the perfect atmosphere for relaxed evenings in front of the television. The USM E-TV unit (ref M59) is available from stock in white.
A tidy and simply furnished work space boosts concentration levels. This little Haller configuration of a small desk is perfect with its sleek, clean lines. The compartment with drop-down door ensures that you keep your home office space in order. The USM small home office desk 07 (ref B21) is available from stock in white, black and ruby red.
This single bay of shelving features three open-backed sections and two drop-down doors in the lower two sections. It is 1790mm high and 750mm wide and is ideal for the home office, hallway or bedroom. The USM tall shelving with two doors (ref M24) is available from stock in white and anthracite.
The most elemental of our stock pieces, this unit comprising two columns and two rows forms the basis of many storage solutions. At 1525mm in width, 375mm in depth and 740mm in height, it is ideal for many spaces around the home. It can even form the basis of a larger configuration that can grow and be added to over time. The USM 2x2 open shelving unit is available from stock in white.
On the left is a USM mobile pedestal (ref M26) comprising three drawers in a chrome frame on castors, available from stock in white. At a height of 605mm, it fits perfectly beneath a desk, such as the USM Haller Table 150x75cm, for example (below). On the right is a USM side unit (ref M22) available from stock in white - ideal as a small coffee table or sofa end table, sized at 523mm square and 390mm height.
