Turbo Pendant Light Large by Louis Weisdorf for Gubi. Originally designed in 1965 Turbo Pendant is simple in form yet complex in structure. Although large in size, Turbo gives of a sense of light airiness due to the outer curve of the lamp which consists of twelve similar spirals that form a flower-like globe that shields the light. Turbo was inspired by the lightness of Japanese rice paper which has been transformed into a sturdier version. Turbo is a typical design of Weisdorf who was well known for the repeating use of elements to create a beautiful result. Available in an Alabaster white glossy finish on the exterior with a matt white finish on the inside which creates a contrast of light and texture.
