Description
The Sestiere Vase by Patricia Urquiola from Cassina reinterprets the Venetian glass making tradition of Murano. The blown glass vessel is harnessed by cords - or 'morisa' decorated with 'rigadin', a Venetian stripe motif evoking the lagoon. These cords are applied by hand and therefore each one is entirely unique, creating an artisan's imperfect expression. As such, each vase may differ slightly from those pictured here.
