London Design Festival 2022
We’re excited to announce a trio of events at Aram for this year’s London Design Festival. Beginning on Saturday 17 September, The Aram Gallery, Aram Trade and Aram Store will each present an experimental, tactile or striking collection of works set across three corresponding floors of our Covent Garden premises.

‘Let’s Play with Chaos’ by United Matters – The Aram Gallery, 3rd floor

The Aram Gallery presents ‘Let's Play with Chaos’, an exhibition that questions: is chaos necessarily a bad thing? Curated by London-based design collective United Matters, this experimental group show will explore how chaos has the potential to inform new ways of thinking and inspire radical change. With works by Aastha Poddar, Akane Kawahara, Carolina Perez Leon, Liene & Kristaps Kazaka, Lisa Kong, Maria Roy Deulofeu, Oriol Arnedo, Ricardo Cenedella & Gabriele Lorusso, Riina Oun, Riya Kuvavala, Sean T Ross & Brigitte Kock, and Sophie Huckfield & Lucy Hutchinson. With sound by Maël Hénaff and Eliza Collin as contributing curator.

A.Petersen – Aram Trade, lower ground floor

Aram Trade presents a tactile display of A.Petersen furniture designed and made in Denmark and launching in the UK market for the first time. As such, the display will champion the beautiful raw materials used to make these contemporary pieces, which renew the Danish design tradition, carry it into the 21st century, and emphasise the value of getting up close. With works by Dan Svarth, Knud Holscher and Ole Schjøll, to be shown alongside original sketches by the designers.

MDF Italia 30th Anniversary Collection – Aram Store, ground floor
17 – 29 September 2022
Aram Store presents a collection of limited edition pieces in celebration of MDF Italia’s 30th Anniversary. Reimagined in striking hand polished steel and aluminium finishes, the Italian brand’s best loved products – from the Minima system and Tense table, to the Lofty chair and Le Banc – will sit proudly in the front window of our store where we look forward to welcoming you shortly.
