Description
The Atollo Lamp, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1977, was awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1979 and is included in major design museum collections around the world. It is also an object of desire for design cognoscenti. Atollo's secret lies in the geometrical balance between its shapes: the cone on the cylinder and the hemisphere above all. A luminous sculpture from which nothing can be removed to which nothing can be added. See below for the large version of the lamp.
