Almendra S4 Linear Pendant Lamp. Almendra is a modular pendant lighting system designed by Patricia Urquiola for Flos fusing sensuous organic shapes with cutting edge technology and environmental considerations. The modules, which can be positioned downward or upward, resemble open Almond shells, connected by a stem. Light from the LED source is diffused evenly and occupies the entire open surface. The polycarbonate material is derived from a by-product of paper production, created during the process of extracting cellulose from wood during the production of paper.
