Isamu Noguchi Akari Lamp 25N for Vitra. Originally designed in 1951 this floor lamp stands tall, commanding attention with its distinct sculptural form. Its striking shape, reminiscent of a traditional Japanese paper lantern, captivates the eye and adds an air of elegance to any space. Crafted with care, this lamp combines artistry and functionality, offering a unique lighting experience. Akari 25N is a larger version of the Akari 24N which can be seen below. Like all Akari lamps, the Akari 25N Lamp features a handmade shoji paper shade. Shoji paper, derived from the bark of the mulberry tree, and bamboo on a black painted metal frame. Shoji is the highest quality of washi paper.

The Akari Light Sculptures are marked with a stylised sun-and-moon logo, which also resembles the corresponding Japanese characters. This symbol guarantees the authenticity of each product.
