Description
Tense Material Heritage Dining Table 198cm by Piergiorgio and Michele Cazzaniga for MDF Italia. Originally designed in 2009 the new heritage version features a tactile oak table top which has been finished with a handmade process known as 'sgorbiature' which translates to 'wood hand carving'. The technique involves several hours of manually carving the wood in an irregular manner which results in a wavy and tactile finish which encourages the user to engage with the surface.
