PH 5 320 Opal Pendant Lamp, designed by Danish architect and designer Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen in 1958 is one of the most recognisable icons of Scandinavian lighting design. Created from Henningsen’s vision of reproducing the warm, gentle quality of light found around sunrise and sunset, the pendant features the famous three-shade lighting system, with its distinctive layered, pyramidal form directing light both downwards and horizontally. This carefully engineered arrangement produces a soft, diffused and glare-free light, making the PH 5 particularly well suited to dining tables, kitchen islands, hallways and living spaces.
