Maralunga 40 2 Seat Sofa by Vico Magistretti for Cassina. Designed in 2014 to celebrate the 40th year of the original best selling Maralunga Sofa which can be seen below. A new feature is the improved comfort with a hidden mechanism in its backrest which is engineered to deliver 7 degrees of added comfort, in both the low and high positions. A furthur update is the stitching along the perimeter of the soft and comfortable cushions. Like the iconic original the main feature is the adjustable headrest for each individual seat which can be altered by the user for their required needs. Made to the highest quality in Italy, Maralunga 40 consists of a tubular steel frame with elastic webbing which supports the relaxing upholstery which is available in many different colours and materials.
