Description

Girard Bird by Alexander Girard for Vitra. Originally designed in 1945 and made from the wood of French apple trees, the Girard Bird is part of the range of abstract sculptures that Alexander designed during the 1940's. The archaic-looking figure piece is able to be stood on its feet or tail and will happily sit anywhere in the home.
