Description
Bolo Bowl by Aldo Londi from Bitossi's Riedizioni Archivio Storico collection. First produced in 1969, a limited series of 199 Bolo were reissued in 2006. Formed from refractory red earth and shaped on a lathe, the ceramic bowl has been decorated with alternating lines of semi-gloss black and white enamel using wax.
The Riedizioni collection recreates Aldo Londi’s ceramic works from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, preserved in the Bitossi Museum Archive. Produced in limited editions, each piece bears the original inventory number on its base, along with the name of the historic brand “Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.”
