Description
Known as the 'Turnip' for its clear resemblance, the A333 pendant lamp by Alvar Aalto made by Artek was created for the National Pensions Institute building in Helsinki in the 1950s. Its organic, bulbous shape allows light to emerge up through the circular recesses as well as shining downwards. The ring detail can be matching white or brass-plated.
