ND52 Vita 2 Seat Sofa

Carl Hansen ND52-2 Vita 2 Seat Sofa by Jorgen and Nanna Ditzel, designed in 1952. An elegant, exposed solid wood frame supports a softly curved, open shell with a supportive, high back, which appears almost to float above the frame. The Vita sofa - named for the couple's daughter - is an example of the designers' desire to break free from the rigidity of traditional functionalism, popular at the time. Available in a wide range of upholstery materials.
