Description
Sinuous Hand Woven Rug 300cm by Simone Post for Kvadrat. Sinuous is a hand woven rug made out of 100% new wool and was the creators first design for Kvadrat. Bold and vivid strings are hand-twined bundles of smaller yarns in 5 different colours. These twisted bundles are then woven together with small single yarms of the same colour which creates different levels of colour mingling on the surface resulting in a shimmering rug. When viewed from distance the rug appears warm and calm and when you get closer you can see the richness of all the different colours details emphasising a lively and playful aesthetic.
