Description

First designed in 1955 for the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Poul Kjærholm’s PK52A Student Desk has been revived and reissued by Carl Hansen & Søn, showcasing the designer’s mastery of functionalist furniture. Featuring a light and simple design, the PK52A Student Desk can be used as a desk, dining table or even a functional work table in design studios for an uncomplicated and elegant aesthetic. The simple veneered top is placed on spacers - it appears to hover above its powder-coated steel frame. The Student Desk can be ordered with or without a drawer module and is available in a larger size as the PK52 Professor Desk.
