PK52 Professor Desk

The PK52 Professor Desk has a light, simple design, and clearly demonstrates the exquisite interplay between materials which is typical of Poul Kjærholm's designs. In the Professor Desk, Kjærholm elegantly combined a lacquered steel frame with a veneered wood table top, thereby refining some of the design elements which would later characterise his furniture. The simple veneered top is placed on spacers - it appears to hover above its powder-coated steel frame. The Professor Desk can be ordered with or without a drawer module and is available in a smaller size as the PK52A Student Desk.
