Description
The OS Wire Table designed by architect Ole Schjøll in 1984 is made entirely in Denmark by A.Petersen. The ten wire components of the base are welded together into a unified frame by welder Mikkel Kjærholm, grandson of design maestro Poul Kjærholm, and then electropolished - more environmentally friendly and durable than chrome plating. The metal top is powdercoated in three colours - a process that does not include any solvents. Thus the table continues the tradition of Danish craftsmanship and design and upholds ecologically responsible principles.
