Obello Table Lamp

Obello Table Lamp by Bill Curry for Gubi. Obello features a frosted, mouth-blown glass shade which is typical of Curry’s original lamp designs. Now modernised Obello includes an integrated dimmable LED light source which can last up to 40 hours without being charged allowing you to take Obello wherever you like, including outdoors. Although shaped like a mushroom, Obello was inspired by the atomic age, space race, and pop culture that would go on to define 1970s Los Angeles. Sadly Curry passed away shortly after the prototype stage and did not get to see it go into full production. An iconic space-age design which gives off a playful and cosy light.
