Description

Isamu Noguchi Akari Lamp 24N for Vitra. Originally designed in 1951, this floor lamp is the smaller version of the Akari 25N which can be seen below. The Akari 24N Lamp boasts a distinctive sculptural silhouette, inspired by the graceful simplicity of traditional Japanese lanterns. Its compact size and elegant proportions make it a versatile lighting solution for a variety of spaces, from cosy living rooms to intimate bedrooms or even office settings. Shoji paper, derived from the bark of the mulberry tree, and bamboo on a black painted metal frame. Shoji is the highest quality of washi paper.

The Akari Light Sculptures are marked with a stylised sun-and-moon logo, which also resembles the corresponding Japanese characters. This symbol guarantees the authenticity of each product.
