Description
Duetto Bed Complete set up by Centro Ricerche for Flou. Originally designed in 1992 the modular characteristics of the Duetto allow it to be easily transformed in order to perform several functions. It is composed of a single bed which is be joined by a trundle bed (secreted underneath the first bed) fitted with a gas-piston mechanism that allows it to be raised easily to the height of the first bed. Two special rubber-coated blocks join the two together to form one double bed. Instead of the trundle bed, it can also be ordered with two large storage drawers that can also be positioned under the first bed - please contact the store for this option and other upholstery options.

The versatile Duetto bed

The Duetto is so much more than a sofa and indeed more than a bed. Whilst by day it can form a simple and elegant sofa, with roll cushions at either end and a low frame to support loose pillows, the floor length cover conceals not only a comfortable single bed but also hidden beneath is a second single trundle bed. The second bed can be pulled out and up very easily, thanks to the wheels and a practical piston system. The two beds can be joined firmly together to create a comfortable double-size bed. If more space is required to store bed-linens, sheets and duvets, two large drawers can be hidden underneath the first bed, instead of the second bed.
