The Kangaroo chair is a design homage to Pierre Jeanneret by Cassina. It is known for its minimalist lines and unpretentious materials, poised between modern European ideals and the traditional Indian spirit. Designed for the Hall of the Chandigarh General Hospital, the chair is known for the 'Z' shape of its sides, made up of three flush elements. Set into the wood frame, the cane seat and backrest are characteristic of the Indian tradition, as is the use of teak, which distinguishes the legendary model revisited by Cassina.
