Bold Handwoven Rug 400cm by Hella Jongerius for Kvadrat. Bold is a hand woven rug using 100% pure New Zealand wool which is created through a combination of manually and mechanically spun yarns. Bold defines warmth and tactility which according to Hella Jongerius are "the most important and best known charateristics of a rug". Distinct and recognisable thanks to the twisting processing and then hand-dyeing yarns ensures the colour never completely penetrates the core of the yarn.
