Upstairs at Aram
Aram has launched Upstairs at Aram, a new dedicated space for the design community in Covent Garden. Located on the third floor of Aram, the space combines flexible work areas with an extensive materials library and the expertise and support of the Aram Trade team, providing industry professionals with a practical base in Central London.
Upstairs at Aram is open to architects and interior designers, who can bring their laptops, host client meetings, conduct sampling sessions, develop project mock-ups, or simply use the space. In addition, the space will host industry events, product launches and a regular programme of workshops.
The space has been carefully designed to support a range of working styles, with three distinct workspaces, a quiet area, breakout spaces, comfortable lounge areas, acoustic panelling and a media screen. At its heart is an extensive materials library, built through Aram’s longstanding relationships with its portfolio of design brands. The Aram Trade team is also on hand to answer product questions, provide technical knowledge and assist with project specifications.
Led by Aram’s Managing Director, Daniel Aram, alongside experienced managers Catherine Maskell and Myles Brown, the Aram Trade team brings extensive industry and product knowledge to every project. With a deep understanding of product materiality, construction and capabilities, the team provides valuable expertise alongside the materials library and wider store.
Furniture from Aram Trade’s brand partners has been used to create a considered, flexible working environment, with pieces from Lapalma, Pedrali, USM and &Tradition bringing together work and meeting areas. Avolt features throughout, while a dedicated kitchen by Montana Furniture provides a welcoming space for refreshments, complemented by kitchenware and utensils from Iittala and Muji.
Together, the selection showcases the breadth of Aram Trade’s collection and creates a relaxed, inspiring environment for working, meeting and collaboration.

Upstairs at Aram brings together the store’s resources, the materials library and the Aram Trade team in a space designed specifically for the architecture and design community. Offering a place to work, research, discover products and access expert support, it extends Aram’s longstanding commitment to connecting people with exceptional design and the brands it represents.
