Said Business School

FURNITURE CONSULTANCY / PROJECT MANAGEMENT / DELIVERY / INSTALLATION
ARCHITECT: DIXON JONES
LOCATION: UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD
PHASE I COMPLETED: 2000, PHASE II COMPLETED: 2012

The University of Oxford has been actively developing over the past 20 years, and Said Business School (Phase I) probably marked the beginning of this activity. Before Said, Oxford lacked a world class business school, and the development of Said Business School was meant to address this. Dixon Jones's sensitive modern take on a traditional Oxford college created a brief demanding high quality excellent design that would attract the best students and staff to Said; Aram's task was to help Dixon Jones and the end client achieve this. Aram provided all the furniture for the students and back offices and the end result was a modern dynamic interior which attracted top executives to Said for their MBA.

Said Business School has been very successful, and had to expand with a second phase to accommodate demand. Aram also provided the help with specification and logistics to make the Phase II result even more impressive than Phase I.
