Aram Contracts has been working closely with architecture practice Softroom on the ongoing refurbishment of the entire Southbank Centre in London. In early 2018, we installed new furniture in the Hayward Gallery Café featuring Scandinavian designs by luminaries such as Ilmari Tapiovaara, Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld. These designs from the 1950s evoke the early days of the Centre's creation for the Festival of Britain in 1951, updated with modern colours and given a touch of luxury by the focal 'Outline' sofa, designed by Anderssen & Voll, in rich nut brown leather.

The Result Chair features a thin steel-sheet base with an oak seat and backrest, retaining maximum flexibility, lightness and strength.
