Slow Sofa by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra is a modern classic that combines lightness, comfort, and refined design. First introduced in 2007, it redefined lounge seating through an innovative, translucent knit fabric that stretches over a sleek, tubular steel frame. This unique construction creates an inviting sense of openness while providing ergonomic support. Generously proportioned seat and back cushions deliver exceptional comfort. Frame/cover: tubular steel frame with fabric cover stretched over the frame.
Cushions: three vitra cushions (40x30 cm, 65x30 cm, 60x40cm) and two neck cushions.
Filling of seat and back cushions 60 x 40 cm (cushions with supportive comfort): 100% recycled PET fibres from post-consumer waste.
Filling of neck and back cushions 40 x 30 cm and 65 x 30 cm (cushions with soft comfort): 100% recycled polyester from post-consumer waste.
Covers: removeable
Base: die-cast aluminium legs with polished finish.
Glides: polyethylene.
Note: cushions should be regularly shaken and plumped to retain their fullness and shape.
