Pelican Lounge Chair by Finn Juhl for House of Finn Juhl. Originally designed in 1940 where it was presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmarker’s Guild Exhibition, the Pelican lounge chair was perhaps the furthest ahead of its time out of all the Finn Juhl range. Pelican stands out due to it’s unusual animalistic shape and sturdy legs creating an iconic blend. A very soft, organic and extremely comfortable chair which hugs the user when sat. This version comes without buttons and is manufactured with a cushion and upholstered by hand in Denmark. The legs are available in walnut or oak clear oil.
