Inspired by the colours and space division in the paintings of Piet Mondrian (1872-1944), designer Koni Ochsner designed the Mondrian cupboard in 1976 as functional piece of furniture for individualists. Colours and proportions of the cabinet are designed according to functionality. All surfaces and doors of the cabinets are coated in high-gloss colours. Doors, flaps and drawers are closed by means of inivisible spring-loaded catches. The shelves are of glass, the base of polished chromed steel. Limited edition of two signed models of 20 pieces each.
