Toulouse born designer Jean-Marie Massaud graduated in 1990 from Les Ateliers, Ecole Nationale Superieuere de Creation Industrielle in Paris. His initial works in town planning lead him into architecture and furniture design, in which he sought to pare down the synthesis of materials to their ultimate lightness.

Since founding his own studio in 2000, Massaud has worked with many of the most eminent of European furniture manufacturers including Cassina, Poltrona Frau, Arper and MDF Italia. His designs for all these brands are available to order from Aram Store
