The incense holder is manufactured from a standard piece of aluminium channel section (40x20x2) that is adapted to form the incense holder. The base is first drilled, and then processed with 2 parallel cuts, allowing the surface to be bent at a 45 degree angle and hold the incense stick (not included) at the optimum angle. The side walls of the channel naturally form an enclosure to capture the ash.
