After her graduation she worked at the office of Italian architect Franco Albini. In 1966 she started designing for Kartell after being chosen as the architect for their headquarters. As Design Director, Castelli Ferrieri was instrumental in bringing designers of the highest calibre to work for Kartell, including such luminaries as Joe Colombo, Richard Sapper and Achille Castiglioni.
