Description
Marking the 60th anniversary of Hans J Wegner's famous CH07 Shell Chair, Carl Hanson & Son have created a limited edition in oiled rosewood and oak. The Shell Chair is characterized by a strong design language with high comfort. The chair’s soft lines and organic shapes also demonstrate Wegner’s knowledge of both the potential and challenges of wood. To add stability to the three-legged chair, Wegner developed a distinctive double frame that is equally beautiful from all angles. Fitted with a brass plaque and available with or without a leather seat pad.

FSC-certified santos rosewood seat and back with FSC-certified oak legs, all oiled.
Optional seat pad in Nordic Spoor Luna carbon leather. Spoor traceable leather means that every piece of leather can be traced to single individual hides and the specific animal, creating transparent and responsible sourcing for both wood and upholstery. Luna leather features a velvet soft surface with a notable natural grain, giving each piece its own unique character. Furthermore, the leather will develop a rich patina over time, adding to its beauty and individuality.
