Cesca Arm Chair with chrome frame and machine woven cane inserts by Marcel Breuer for Knoll. Originally designed in 1928 and named after Breuer’s daughter Francesca, the chair features a graceful cantilevered tubular steel frame that redefined furniture construction. The curved arms offer added comfort and support, complementing the machine woven cane seat and back that lend warmth and texture. Rooted in the Bauhaus ethos of form meeting function, the Cesca Arm Chair is both sculptural and practical. Side Chair version is also available which can be seen below.
