Lambert & Fils

Founded in 2010, Lambert & Fils is one of the world’s leading contemporary lighting studios, creating original collections and collaborating with emerging designers around the world. Preserving the bond between design and making, all lighting is handmade in the Lambert & Fils atelier in the heart of Montreal.

Through its exploration of new design technologies, Lambert & Fils investigates the many shapes of light—meditating on voids, volumes and the importance of matiere premiere — materials as a point of origin.

Lambert & Fils hosts a multidisciplinary team of over 50 designers, fabricators, artists and creatives. Working by hand, to push boundaries, protoyping in-house and creating the technologies and manufacturing approaches to bring the imagined forms to life.
