Sibast: Sustainable Editions
Sustainability is at the forefront of all our minds these days as we fully acknowledge the impact mankind has on our planet. Danish manufacturer Sibast Furniture is proud to embrace sustainability in its two key designs, the work of Helge Sibast from 1953 - the No 7 and No 8 chairs. The wood from which the chairs are made is FSC certified and the Sørensen 'Dunes' leather with which the seats are covered bears the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
Such handsome dining chairs are the result of skilled craftsmanship, which gives them considerable longevity - heirlooms to be passed down the generations - a further mark of sustainability.
To celebrate these credentials, in partnership with Sibast Furniture, we are offering you the opportunity to buy four No 7 chairs or four No 8 chairs for the price of three, from Sunday 02 February until the end of March 2020, when you choose anthracite or cognac Dunes leather seats on oak frames (soaped, oiled, smoked or black). Simply place four of your chosen chairs (all in the same combination of finishes) into the shopping basket and the value of one chair will be deducted as a discount. This offer is also available in store, where both chairs are on display.
FSC® protects nature and benefits the climate. The FSC® mark is a guarantee that the wood used comes from sustainable managed forests and that no more wood is felled than the forests can reproduce.
The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is the official Nordic ecolabel and is a guarantee that the product meets the most stringent environmental requirements in all aspects of the product’s life cycle, from raw materials to production, use, disposal and recycling.
