New in Store this April
Some wonderful new products arrived onto our shop floor during the last lockdown and, now that we are open once again to visitors, they are on display for you to experience. Taking pride of place in our corner window on Drury Lane is the new NVL dining table by Jean Nouvel for MDF Italia. An expansive oval plane sits atop a base comprised of two geometric shapes thus creating a thoroughly modern impression of an ancient trilith. Finished with a glossy lacquer in red, white or black, this is truly a statement piece.
Also new from MDF Italia are the Neil Leather chair by Jean-Marie Massaud which pairs a black chrome frame with saddle leather in natural, black or turtle-dove colours, and the Divide-IT screen by Pitsou Kedem - delightfully tactile movable polurethane panels on a matt epoxy white or black aluminium frame.
Sebastian Herkner's popular Bell table collection has been joined by a Bell dining table at 130cm diameter. The smoked glass base is an extraordinary feat of the Bavarian glassblowers' skill due to its size. It supports a turned brass frame and black glass top.
Storet is a storage collection from Acerbis International designed by Nanda Vigo and we have on display the 10 drawer chest in glossy burgundy lacquer and dark stained walnut. The drawers are equipped with a push mechanism for opening. We also have the Menhir low table originally designed in 1983 by Lodovico Acerbis and Giotto Stoppino. The solid marble bases in a variety of shapes recall ancient monoliths and the tops are available in glossy lacquers or wood stains.
The Matic sofa by Piero Lissoni for Knoll International forms part of a modular system with a plethora of options. We have it as a 224cm sofa with an upholstered structure and charcoal coloured aluminium legs. Other modules include chaises longues and terminal peninsula units, to provide seats upholstered with evenly-sized squares, or detailed with a T-shaped seam, combined with a special curved back featuring a mechanism that can be turned to adjust comfort for relaxing, reading or conversation.
Also on display are items new to our outdoor range: the Maki slatted extending table with FSC-certified teak staves that extends to seat up to 12, and the Nolita chair in sunny yellow, available from stock. Pair them with a selection of portable, rechargeable LED lamps such as the FollowMe from Spanish manufacturer Marset.
