The Magis Proust is, in the words of its designer Alessandro Mendini, a paradox. The original 1978 design 'Poltrona di Proust' was itself a re-interpretation of a romantic Baroque armchair painted by hand with multi-coloured pointillism and realised in many materials, even ceramic and bronze. Now, this 2012 re-edition becomes a rotationally-moulded polyethylene object, a technical gem of industrial production. It is suitable for outdoor use
