USM's Haller modular furniture system was launched in 1965. It was initially developed by Paul Schaerer, an engineering graduate and grandson of the company founder, together with architect Fritz Haller. It is based on an open system principle - able to be modified in almost any way desired, it provides a great deal of adaptability to individual needs for organisation and design in both office and home environments. The number of available product combinations is almost infinite. Materials are tubular chromed frames with glass or metal sheets in fourteen colours.
