About this designer: Anna Castelli Ferrieri
Italian designer Castelli Ferrieri was trained at the Milan Polytechnic Institute as an architect. After her graduation she worked at the office of Italian architect Franco Albini. In 1966 she started designing for Kartell after being chosen as the architect for their headquarters. As Design Director, Castelli Ferrieri was instrumental in bringing designers of the highest calibre to work for Kartell, including such luminaries as Joe Colombo, Richard Sapper and Achille Castiglioni. Of her own designs, Castelli Ferrieri is most well known for her Componibili storage units, all of which are stocked by Aram Store.
