Opening as part of the London Design Festival, Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide will present a lighting installation at Aram Store in London's Covent Garden featuring new designs by Naoto Fukasawa, Ross Lovegrove, Ernesto Gismondi as well as items from their well known lighting collection.

A prototype of the new Mercury chandelier by Ross Lovegrove will be showcased during the event.

The suspension light is part of the Hydro Series and features floating pebbles below a simple aluminium disc. The pebbles reflect one another and the environment around them. During the day the piece acts as a sculptural mobile reflecting the natural light.

Material: die-cast aluminium lighting unit; reflective pebbles made of injection-moulded thermoplastic material with metallic finish. Die-cast aluminium reflector.

Finish: satin aluminium or polished chrome. Indirect light emission.

The new table lamp Itis, designed by Naoto Fukasawa, uses a low energy LED light source to provide a warm, intense light. The stem can be tilted from 0 to 90 degrees and the head can be rotated 180 degrees. Itis has a painted zamak base, a painted metal stem and a polycarbonate head with a transparent satin diffuser. The lamp is available in black or white.
